Joe Moscola, PA, MBA
Founder & Principal, Salus Innovations
Joe Moscola is a seasoned healthcare executive with more than two decades of experience leading complex transformation in large health systems. He recently served as Executive Vice President of Enterprise Management at Northwell Health - the largest healthcare system in New York. A trusted voice in advancing organizational performance, Joe oversaw critical functions including human resources, information technology, facilities & construction, real estate, capital planning, and shared services.
Joe began his career as a Physician Assistant in cardiothoracic surgery and progressed through leadership roles in ambulatory operations, neuroscience, and clinical services administration. He has led major organizational change initiatives, workforce transformations, and digital enablement programs - always with a unifying focus on aligning people, process, and outcomes.
Among his accomplishments at Northwell, Joe spearheaded the system’s employee experience refresh, launched a unified operating model for shared services, and played a key leadership role during the COVID-19 pandemic, overseeing staffing, safety, testing, and support efforts for team members. Under his leadership, Northwell has also been recognized for workplace culture, inclusion, and employee engagement.
Joe earned a Bachelor of Science degree and Physician Assistant certification from St. John’s University, and an MBA from Adelphi University. Beyond his executive responsibilities, he serves on boards and advisory bodies in the healthcare and education sectors.
